I converted my Total One LE to take a standard ABS blade for street hockey. I had to cut it until only the "NE" remained in "TOTAL ONE".

If you're planning to go with a decent tapered blade it's more cost effective to spend a bit more and get a stick on closeout instead.

Finally picked up my new BASE SuperNatural today. BC88(Kane), INT55(yes, that's correct). Shot around for maybe 30-40 min. So far, pretty responsive, not really heavy nor is it too light and decent puck feel(won't know for sure till I play a game on it). Definitely solid feel despite it being a 55flex.
Taped and ready to go!

Couldn't you have just flipped it upside down and put the blade into the top end? In the past with OPS using tapered shafts and low kick points, especially fused OPS, cutting/pulling a broken blade and replacing with a tapered blade allowed most of the stick's original performance. Nowadays with the mid-kicks and minimal taper, doesn't work out so well IMO.

i got my new Passau glove yesterday, and it's awesome.

i designed the color scheme to match my blocker and future black pads.

compared to my old Bauer glove.

played one with it so far and I like it.
time well tell.

You've played with me b4, you know I'm not a big guy..hahaha.

That's 55 uncut. Took about 2ish inches off. So should make it about 67flex?

I forgot lol. It's been a while. But props for using a lesser flex. A lot of people your size will never use less than an 87

It fits pretty nice. Although I've been thinking about it, I'm into this glove for $430, which isn't far off from the top offerings from Brians and Vaughn. Now, the Passau is nice and is custom designed by me, but there are some areas where you can see they didn't use the same quality materials as Vaughn. Don't get me wrong, I like my Passau a lot. Everytime I play with it, I become more attached. But a part of me wonders if I should have just bought the matching Vaughn catcher.

No!

Srsly though, I'm in a weird place with my pads now. I got m rollerfly's in so I can go back to roller hockey, but I don't want to commit my ice pads to it.

I need a cheap set for inline, like $200 type thing. Something ugly that I won't care about. Yours are too nice for that.

I can sell mine for $250.....LOL.

Make your own slide plates for Roller. As far as RollerFly plates......I heard their production is LOOOONG wait times...

Have you gotten yours already? Just buy my pads dammit.

I'll set something up in delta if you'd like.
good facilities, central location, it's a win all around.

bph, damn.
i have my rollerflys now. ordered back in December, hurt my back, and haven't played roller since. they're pretty cool. i haven't had the chance to play with them yet, but the movement is great. I'll consider your pads.

Anyone use local shops to wash your gear? Prefer a shop in Vancouver/Richmond that does a good job and isn't too pricey(Not sure what it costs).

I think it is time for new pants. My Reebok pro-stocks are not protecting me as well as they use to. Shots from the point are hitting the thigh padding and leaving me with a puck sized bruise.
Plus after 6 years of use, they are starting to fall apart.

Does anyone have any good recommendations of pants that offer good protection? I play D so good frontal coverage is important. I tried on the TotalOne's since they are on clearance now, but the thigh padding leaves the inner thighs unprotected, so there is a 3 inch gap of unprotected inner thigh when I put my legs together.

Do it yourself. It's cheaper. And I can teach you how. It's not too difficult.

I've tried ozone and gear wash services. None of them really do much.

Ozone actually made the smell WORSE.

I'm in Vancouver, near Richmond. So if you want, I can do it for you for like....a beer or something LOL. I'd need it for about a day or so though.
