[Confidential] Saying "I love you"

The following is an submission from an Anonymous Revscene member. If the original poster would like to reply to this thread feel free to message me privately

Alright, so when ever my gf and I are hanging out. When cuddling we do some small sweet talk. Then I end up saying "I love you" in response I get an "I know". One thing I don't get is that she says "I love you" over the phone. Is it cause she shy? Because shes the shy type or it could be something else?

Cos she doesn't love you as much as you love her. Stop saying "I love you" until she feels the same way. You will find out soon enough that she will try to please you more.

it happens, on my second date with my boyfriend, he's like ' i love you ' and i just smiled and blushed, cause i was shy to say it back to him so i just kissed him.

she's probably shy imo, but the more you're with her, the more she gets used to you and saying i love you will be a snap.

jimzilla 02-11-2009 07:35 PM

do you really believe that?

Cute, but say it too much too early and IMHO it starts to dilute the meaning. They're strong words and they should stay that way.

That being said, I FREAKIN'S LOVE RS!!! :haha:

hotjoint 02-12-2009 06:31 AM

she probably thinks its too early to say it back

Most overused phrase almost that's why!
You see kids dating and throwing it back and forth like nothing.
I feel like it's really lost all meaning if you say it too early or too often.

dude dun say it too much or she will think ur saying it just cuz and it would be no meaning to it and she would think u dun actually love her...it's just maybe u love her more now and she think it's not necessary to say it...or u guys have been together for a while that saying this is not something that is uncommon...so just dun wry so much and dun have to say it that much...

2damaxmr2 02-19-2009 01:17 AM

she is cheating on you.

joolee 02-19-2009 03:36 AM

maybe she doesn't actually 'love' you yet. the word love is harsh played out nowadays, people say it so easily so maybe she wants it to be special and actually be meaningful?

Chairman Kaga 02-20-2009 09:52 AM

Did she look you in the eye when she said it?

Han Solo'd ftl

RabidRat 02-22-2009 09:49 AM

so when she says it to you over the phone, is it in response to you saying it first, or is she initiating?

stewie 02-22-2009 11:48 AM

ouchies hahaha

next time wait and let her say it first or say something else such as "i appreciate you" hahahahaha

Words lose their value when they are used too frequently.
