"No MSG" @ Lao Shan Dong Yeah so I went to Lao Shan Dong Taiwanese Beef Noodle today. The sign said "NO MSG", but after finishing the their overpriced bowl of beef noodles ($9.19) I got hella thirsty. Did they lie??? |
You should tell them that Taiwan is not the real China and then they'll show you what's up. |
Because you know, MSG makes you really thirsty... It couldn't be salt or anything like that.. |
^ i lol'd. |
AHAHAHAHAH excellent point |
You should have straight up asked them! |
^ it was after i left. like 5-10 minutes later so i went to mcdees and asked them for water hahahaha |
So.. what..? No reply to my post? You're saying you ruled out everything but MSG and can't even tell me why you ruled out salt but is able to tell us that you only felt it 5-10 mins afterwards like when your stomach begins to break down everything and when the salt would begin to enter your system..? |
Did you ask The Notorious MSG yet???? |
Whenever I see this thread, I think you mothersuckers are talking about me, the Notorious MSG. |

CRS: you might have a point there...hahaha the soup if anything is really high in sodium. like canned soup. |
You have any friends that are allergic to MSG? Bring them and let them have a sip of your soup. I'm sure you'll find out then. |
I dont remember their prices being $10 for a bowl of noodles. Then again, I've only been there for lunch. |

Seeing as the body naturally produces the substance.. It would be like being allergic to yourself. |
