I don't think the Celtics will be able to sustain that kind of shooting throughout the series....but it was fun to watch...Hopefully they take 2 of 3 in Boston.
So who was laughing at Rondo potentially being Finals MVP??
19 points, 10 dimes, 12 boards just ain't MVP numbers...
Allen and Rondo stepped up this game, hopefully Garnett who had 6 points does more in game 3, and Pierce shoots better than 2 for 11.
If Kobe didn't get in foul trouble, this game would have been so much closer, maybe even a different result.

| That's me...but if I'm passing the ball to Ray Allen and he knocks down seven 3's in a row then that brings the stat up fast. We'll see how the next few games turn up and if the Cs keeps this up.... Allen was done after he got that 8th 3 pointer. I bet for game 3, they will try to get garnett going L
But the game was very close and IMO, the momentum changed after Kobe got that 5th foul.. and in my view, the celtics only won by 5..just became 9 due to the fouling at the end so it was close but a loss is a loss so on to game 3

Horrible officiating in yesterdays game, clean blocks, flops, trips, pussy touch fouls. The lakers lost because they couldn't contain Ray Allen in the 1st half. They did better in the 2nd half but kobe's 4th and 5th fouls really hurt the team. Both teams looked flat footed at times during the game. Alot of easy rebounds by the defending team were caught by the offensive team due to standing around and looking at the ball with no movement.

Watching Ray Allen's 3pt shots is like a work of art (esp. in slo mo).. perfect form/release/follow through. I mean, I didn't like it when they were all going in but damn....

What difference is there if Ray Allen knocked down seven three in a row or back in the day Kobe passing it down low to Shaq for 7 dunks in a row..and 1.
Give credit where credit is due man...it's Rondo's coming out party, don't hate.
I'm just saying....if Celtics win the series, he's got a legitimate chance at being MVP with the game 2 performance...he'll have to sustain it of course.

(No charles barkley/malone comments as those are usually jokes) You can probably dig someone up but I'm just too lazy.. but I believe Rondo is the only one I know of.. Hell, even Ray Allen had to apologize to Chris Paul.. Do you honestly think that Rondo can win a championship alone? sure he'll be good but besides Parker from the Spurs, what other "all star point guards" out there alone has won a championship.
