VPD catching street Racers using aerial support?
 

[ Kind of random ] A white chopper has been hovering and circling around my block for 20mins... I cannot sleep.... it's just too loud... OAK street @ 70 Ave West

I heard some really loud exhaust right outside my house 30mins ago and then I heard police sirens and then there's this chopper....

I wonder what they are doing...

I have even taken a video..

whatever the cops are doing is probably completely unrelated to any loud car you may have heard, unless someones running organized races by your house.

I highly doubt it's to catch street racers.

They use choppers to spot out and stop *speeders/possible drunk ppl* at night on the highway. Not sure if they do that for inside the city o.O

Frick, I live in that area and heard it too. It was so annoying. I also suspect it woke up my 10-month old. That was a pain!

Yep, they caught him when he went to go exit at gaglardi for SFU. and they caught me heading into surrey on 152.
Luckily both of us got caught for $500+ speeding tix and not suspensions or anything.
