hell, i ate a sandwich and scallop roll and a cali roll at lunch
than 3pm i went for a large cuz i had this craving for a decent poutine. googled it up and ppl raved about it, so i was like aww wat the hell
i think i will try XL tomorrow haha
u can add chicken, bacon bits, or even montreal meats!!! crazy
they have like 9 dipping sauces, didnt bother to try. wanted the original poutine flavour
drool
their fries are nice and crispy, not soggy shit. gravy is decent yet not overpower nor too salty like costco.
the way they filll it up is half way the filling they stop and add some curd cheese with gravy, than stop and continue to stuff the fries. By the time they reach the top more cheese curd and more gravy. its the shitttt |
Sounds like my post on the previous page. Another happy customer...Fritz ftw

Had a New York Fries poutine today. No good! Not enough cheese and gravy. I should've asked for extra..

New York Fries!!!
During a non-busy time, and with accomodating staff, ask them to re-fry the fries to make them super crispy, then use the extra crispy fries in making the poutine (done this a couple of times).
You run the risk of a heart attack with the extra grease but at least you would die smiling =D

Not local to Vancouver but thought I'd share what you can get in Montreal and to make you guys drool.
Oh, and in the background, those are authentic Montreal steamed hot dogs! So good!

*haha!*
Sorry guys, I had that last year when I was in Montreal for business and the name of the joint - I can never remember but it's in the Saint Laurent shopping district. If I recall correctly, the name of the place is translated into English as "Iceberg." It's open 24/7 and awesome after a night of drinking and partying in the university/clubbing district.

Just had BK's on my way home. I still gotta say from personal experience it's
1. Fritz
2. BK (alright, not great)
3. Costco (cheese was cold the last 2 times i tried)
4. A&W (gravy too salty)
It's been so long since I've tried NY Fries and I haven't been to some of the others mentioned.

Fuck, went to Costco to get some poutine. I will never eat one again. Ever. (at least not for a while).
How the shit do you guys eat this stuff twice in one week? Maybe once every 3 months or something. I felt like a sack of potatoes.
