Rappers that fell off

Who are some rappers that used to sound good but then they fell off?

Isn't Skeelo more of a one-hit-wonder?

Anyways, what happened to Warren G and Nate Dog?

grew up. they made music for a good 10 years. after that you dont fall off. you decide to not make music cause you just dont feel like it, knowing that if you did want to start again you could

Craig Mack, he was basically replaced by Biggie. Turned out to be a good choice, as his 2nd album really sucked.

Gravediggaz first album was great, but the second album sucked. Then one died and they never got back together.

Keith Murray's first album was great too, but was unable to follow it up with much.

Then you have all the guys who were in big groups who failed as solo artists while others were hugely successful... MC Ren, U-God, etc

I would make an argument that Nas never followed up Illmatic with anything worth listening to, but that could just be that hip hop changed and he changed with it. Because I think it kinda sucks.

Of course you can name all the one-hit and one-album wonders: 3rd Bass, Dream Warriors, Disposable Heroes, Blackstreet, Rahzel, etc. But I guess that's not really the point of this thread?

Anyway, hip hop started sucking after 1999-2000 or so, and never got better again, with the exception of Q-Tip's latest album which is fucking great.

the gravediggaz dropped off due to the rza doing too much shit and feuding with other members. The 2nd album aint too bad but of course not as raw at 6 feet deep(picked that up in 93 when it first came out)

keith murray had too much issues with the law I wouldn't say he dropped off was just a frucken idiot.
