Girl Guides Cookies

It's been quite a while since I've had some and I've got a craving for some Samoa's and Thin Mints!

Do they have them here in Canada? Last time I've had them was when I was in the US...I haven't seen any girl guides standing in front of grocery stores selling them lately.

Oh, hmm...I'm just used to the US where they have all the flavours at once. My coworkers were just munching on some when we were on a conference call which made me want some Samoas baaaaaaaaaaad....

I just realized after looking at the website that the Canadian Girl Guides cookies are different to the ones they sell in the US...now I'm just disappointed. I'm going to have to make the drive down to the US just to get some now.

haha...I'm still a sucker for fundraisers - if I see one, I'll support them, but if you haven't tried the Samoa's or Thin Mints, you need to try them to see why I'm craving them.

i use to be a band geek when i was still in hs and we'd have to sell them every term. sucked balllls. anyways, you can find the same chocolates from the bulk sections in grocery markets like save on or safeway. they come in dark chocolate too. SOOO good.

Quoted from the website

Girl Guide cookies are available twice a year - the chocolatey mint cookies are available every fall (October to December) and the classic chocolate and vanilla sandwich cookies are available every spring (from approximately March to June).
