| Best Nightclubs in Vancouver
Which is the best Nightclub in vancouver? Every nightclub has there own.... how can i word it... atmosphere? personality? lifestyle or whatnot.
I'll make some specific points.
which is the best nightclub to start with? ie: first time clubbing
Which has the best service?
which club has the best crowd? overall atmospshere?
Which club has long line ups/no line ups
I tried searching google but there reviews are like 1-2 years old and i didn't see anyone post so i thought i'd start this thread.
Lash out all your opinions the good and bad.

If you don't mind gay people, definitely Celebs. It's got a great friendly atmosphere and the staff is great.
I'm not too thrilled about Fabric. It's really small for the amount of people they try to fit in there.
Republic is okay if you don't mind hanging with a bunch of pretentious wannabe snobs. My ex-co worker used to spin there on Friday nights, so a bunch of us used to go down after work was done. The staff are super rude when in other night clubs though. I won't be going there again and giving them my money any time soon.
The Blarney Stone (if you don't mind a more pub feel) is awesome. I love the staff there (okay okay, I'm bias, one of the bouncers is a friend of mine) and they've got a great atmosphere. I don't remember how big their dance floor is though.
A lot of the clubs you should be able to take a 360* virtual tour on clubzone.com... I know you can for Fabric and Celebs. Hope this helps a little =]
Oh! Stay away from Plaza btw, nothing but trouble there and the crowd was horrible I found.

google ads are wack - - its showing an ad for Atlantis .. Z!
> yea, check out clubzone.com , they have some reviews n some pics of each club n by looking at the pics, u can see what type of people go to each club, and choose accordingly.

Ginger - Friday Night
Canvas - Sat Night
If you're into house music. Crowd is always great @ those clubs. No shit starters.

for me the only place i liked going was shine. best music, kinda trendy/scene'ish atmosphere that i didnt like, place was kind of a dive, but the music was the best in the city. couldnt stay away. now its trying to be more then it is and plays techno on a friday. weak ass shit.

Fabric is not bad, not the nicest club inside, gossip is a good club to go to as well.
Modern plays some good tracks inside, but if you're asian and first time clubbing my guess is that you will go to BOSS or to Fabric

Well i'm pretty sure anyone would be excited to go clubbing for the first time lol. But yes everyone has told me once you get in clubbing isn't that fun like how people say it is. w.e I would be the judge of that.
I'm a halfer, half asian and half white. so i heard that Boss and Fabric is mostly asian.
Heard The modern is really good apparently. gossip night club i heard its really big but not that great cause it really doesn't fill up (not alot of people inside). But yea just figuring out which is the best club to go to with a bunch of random friends (like alot just inviting random people). i was gonna go to gossip at first but that was only cause the casino was right across from it lol. but i just want to go to an awesome club and have good times.
I forgot to add how are the line ups at differents clubs. When i went to granville st about a month ago there was a HUGE lineup like at least one block to get into comodore ballroom? or was it to get into republic not sure. saw the same thing two weeks ago =\

I'm going to stop you right there =] Commodore is a concert venue not a night club. So please don't go up to the door asking how much cover is. They really hate that.

gossip is way too big imo
if you like the asian crowd fabric is nice, its less heaty and the atmosphere is more vibrant than boss
u could also check out canvas lounge its a nicely setup club and the crowd is more mixed, still lots of asians
if u need guestlist give me a shout, ill hook up drinks too =)

plush (gossip)- too big for my liking, asian crowd, mix on the music
bar none- awesomeee if you're more into the older crowd, good music on thursdays (old school jams)
atl (boss)- always gonna be a favorite of mine. the crowd gets younger and younger everytime i go there, but i just cant deny how good the music is on both fri and sat
wild coyote- old school jams, 20+ crowd, more chill and laid back
roxy- white crowd, good for live bands
stone temple- bumpin' beats on saturday, weird layout, mixed crowd
the royal- biggest dive ever, white crowd, mixed music (rock etc)
ginger- super nice place, mixed crowd and age group, house/trance/techno only
tunnel- loungey place with a nice decor, 20+ crowd,
cellar- i've only been here once but my god. it was awesome. mixed music, mixed crowd+age but everyone is super chill and friendly.

Should also add Roxy is the place to be if you're a young guy looking for an older chick. Lots of cougars go there. Especially on their country night (Sunday I think).

Gossip is big but the venue is really nice imo, and there's usually a decent turn out there
like 6chronic4 said if you're into the asian scene boss and fabric are 2 clubs that you will enjoy
i'm a halfer as well and i don't mind hitting up boss or fabric every now and then, but canvas and gossip are good places to go as well.
