Help me identify tail light of car that crashed into my friend's house.

It happened sometime after dark, but before bedtime (according to neighbour) on the 23rd of March... Someone driving (probably quite fast) jumped up onto the sidewalk and hit a big shrub, cracking their headlight, then the car spun and slid across the lawn, eventually hitting the right rear of the car on the house, where the rear tail light cover smashed and red lens popped out... just a foot away from the gas meter! What we're trying to figure out is what kind of car this light came from. At first we assumed it was a newer vehicle because there was a smashed clear shell and the red lens was pristine, no scratching or dirt, so it must have been enclosed, but when I re-assembled it I think it might be an aftermarket replacement for an older car... and this is where I think everyone here will be more useful than me cruising parking lots looking for this type of tail light...

my guess would be a camry too

it's not likely going be a newer car because they don't use those lenses anymore.. its bigger and bulkier now with a lot of space inside the housing

It's close but I don't think it is a Camry tail light. The corner diffuser is red but on the camry, they are off amber.
And the angle of the cover is not right as the camry has a 90 degree bend.

As for the front corner lamp, the camry is clear and has that reflective pointy shit behind it whereas this piece has the lines that goes across the plastic.

look at the border, and also, the colours are in the right position.

the chances of that being from a camry are pretty damn high.

Unfortunately, no... the only markings are on the red part (R) and on part of the clear shell, it says TOP

I'll be looking for a camry to match it to today and I'll let y'all know.

There are years when the Camry's taillights are all red. I've seen those running around Vancouver before. The angle of the lamp will depend on the mounting behind it - this piece could be the corner reflector, because I don't think the taillight assembly is all one piece with a 90 degree bend.

The headlight shards are tiny, so it could be from something or other... hard to tell. Again, different years will vary...

On second thought, Camry does look like a good answer.

the amber bit is detached from the clear shell, and it broke off when the guy smacked it.

It has to be a Camry. Final answer.

Also more CSI for you:

Because it's a camry that went fast, the driver was probably drunk. Only a drunkard thinks driving fast in a Camry is a good idea. Then he ran for it, likely to escape charges of DUI. Him being run off the road by a 3rd party is another possibility, maybe he got off your lawn to chase down the 3rd party. Either way he does not think much of his encounter of the bushes and the house. Also the car must have jumped the curb at a very high (closer to 90 degrees) attack angle otherwise a Camry would lose its wheels because of its front strut design and he would not be able to get away. If there aren't a lot of circular tracks on the lawn my guess is he lost it on the road outside and backed into the yard. His vehicle is a Camry LE and not a CE as well because the wheels did not lock up and dig a train track into the yard. The base model Camry has no ABS.

If you can take some more pictures of the front lawn maybe we can deduce more facts from the trajectory and speed etc. Also the road just outside the house would be an area littered with information too.

That was CSI:Vancity brought to you by hk20000. Should you believe it? Well, do you believe in CSI:Miami? ROFL.

It's a Camry. You aren't gonna catch it. Camry = best getaway vehicle ever.

def a gen4 camry light. However if it doesn't have any stamps or anything, it seems to be OEM replacement?
