Looking for players willing to play in a low tier team in Ice604 for the summer.
Female and Male players welcome.

Details:
Dates: Starts the week of April 25-August 31, 2009
Times: 6:15pm-10:30pm starts
Venues: Majority of the games will be played at Burnaby 8rinks with some games at the North Shore Facility
Cost: $450 Full payment required to secure spot

I think the price comes with a jersey. I seen other ice604 teams charge more.

You don't like it, then don't play.

Herb even announced a few month back that the cost of ice rental is up at 8 rinks and thus he has to charge more for each team.

Plus, to get to play with Keroleen, I think it is worth the extra premium that this league charges.

yea i paid about 480 for the team i joined. jerseys and socks included. its normal. on a side note,what tier is everyone joining?

That depends on how gay you are.

If you think $450 is too much, you don't have to join.

BTW, it is $5900 plus GST which makes it $6195 and then divide that by 14 players, that is $442.50 per player.

My team is 2g1p (Defending Champs!), #97

Teams are always different about whether the goalies pay too. I've played on teams where the goalie's played for free, half of what everybody pays or the same as what everybody pays. Somebody has to eat up the goalie's fees.

I'm playing ICE604 for this upcoming season, we have 15 skaters + 1 goalie and we paid $371/person. This is not including jerseys or socks. My ASHL team last year we got jerseys done up at Cyclones and it was $60 each... socks was $10-$12. So the OP's price of $450 sounds about right.

Most of my teams I roster only 13 skaters. (Except for the women's teams) and goalies are always free!
If you are comparing to my VIHL team then its no comparison. This is ice hockey. I can tell you that 8rinks jacked up Herb's contract by 6% and he has to reflect that on the league fees.
Ice604 is cheap ...i paid over $9000 for my women's team out of coquitlam which is cheaper than ASHL WL

As for jerseys...price ranges anywhere from $50-100+ depending on quality and such.

This team is entering into the lowest division which is Tier 12 along with teams like 2G1P, Cubz, KillerBunnies1, Killerbunnies2, MasterBladers etc

mickz, did you play ice604 in the previous seasons?

This is going to be my first Ice604 season. To be honest I don't even know the details like what tier we're going to play in... it's really just a reunion for us since most of us used to be teammates back in VMHA. I think we'll be called the Pro Stars... but hopefully keep our "Eastside" chants before each period.
