did i miss something?

1500sq ft is pretty small but they have the right idea anyway! i wish my gym had rope climbs! i love them. tire flips are rad too. i wish my gym had bags too. it says the rates are for full use except BJJ. does that mean muay thai is included? $50/month is a good deal if it includes everything

The price depends on how long you sign up. $125/month for 6 months which includes Muay Thai and MMA classes as far as martial arts. Then there is that polymetric training (i duno what its called.. polymetric training? :p).. which is pretty sweet because there is usually only 1 or 2 people in there.. so its like having a personal trainer :D

Bjj guy you pay seperately. He comes in from Salmon Arm.

It is pretty small.. Muay Thai can only fit like 12 - 15 people max..

I had to post in case anyone in Kamloops wants to train or knows someone that was looking for a gym!

Are there a lot of places to train in Kelowna?

RRxtar 03-31-2009 04:19 PM

yes and no.

theres at least 6 or 7 good quality regular fitness gyms. and theres probably well over 10 martial arts/MMA gyms in town. most are mcdojo's that specialize in karate and taibo and boxercise and the like. but there are a few quality MMA gyms with real coaches producing real fighters. I think we have a BJJ gym with a brown belt (i think darnold goes there?) and Toshido is home to the current King of the Cage Canada LW and WW champions.

what we dont have is a gym that does it all. where you can run on the treadmill, weight train, hit the bags, and take in a MMA class all under the same roof with the same membership.
