Anyone have a carfax account?

My fathers looking at a car and wanted to see if anyone had a carfax to check up on it. It would be greatly appreciated.

Check out the latest Marketplace story on Carfax
http://www.cbc.ca/marketplace/2009/v...orts/main.html I think you might be better off with Carproof. ICBC's website has a link for Carproof. They also have a database that you can check for free whether a car is salvaged or rebuilt.

Here is the link for ICBC
http://www.icbc.com/buy_car/vehicle_claims_history.asp
Ran the vin. This is what I found for free
Vehicle Description and Status
Please make sure this vehicle description is correct. If it's not, click TRY AGAIN, then re-enter the VIN.

VIN Year Make Model
1C3EL46R92N182446 2002 CHRYSLER SEBRG

This vehicle's current status is: NORMAL (Source: B.C. vehicle registry.)
Please note: Vehicle status alone does not fully describe a vehicle's mechanical condition or damage history.

To find out more about this vehicle...

...order one of these vehicle history reports:

• ICBC Vehicle Claims History - shows ICBC damage claims, import records and more ($20.00 plus GST). To purchase, click NEXT.

• Carproof Verified BC - includes ICBC claims, plus information from insurers and vehicle databases across Canada and the U.S.

Which vehicle history report is right for me
