Anyone own a bowflex?

Anyone own one? Pro's and con's?

Pro's working out at home.... Cons... if you get the one with the power rods they get shaky and are hard to get used to. If your looking to burn fat and get in shape its a great "machine" if your looking to actually build alot of muscle it sucks in that aspect.

The bowflex with the things that look like weights seems to be the way to go. Smoother resistance and better fluidity..

Berz out.

Thanks...I am looking to build muscle because I burn enough fat doing cardio on the treadmill.

Yea don't get a bowflex if your into bulking up.... get some free weights with a bench.

Berz out.

You can't dead lift, squat, good mornings. I'd say, save your $$ and get a power rack. Best investment.

I would recommend buying a flat-incline-decline bench, some olympic weights, and a power rack. There are reasons gyms don't have Bowflexes.
