Business Cards

anyone able to, or work for a place that, prints business cards? I dont need alot, maybe 50 tops for now. Just single sided and not of overly fancy quality.
Everywhere Ive looked wants a minimum order of 1000.

I've already got the cards designed up in actual size.

If anyone on here has a fancy printer than can print well on card paper, Ill pay for the cost of the materials plus beer. but you only get the beer after the printing is done. 12 cards can easily fit on one 8.5x11 so I guess I only need 4 sheets printed.

I have a laser printer at work (definitely a black and white one, the color one might be laser as well though), I don't know if that's good enough quality or not but I could always do a test paper version and let you know.

if you're up in kamloops for any reason, or maybe they can mail to you Universal Reproductions is pretty good. The Indian Band uses them for ours.

They do gang runs of 100 cards for a decent rate. Shipping's about $15 and it's done through UPS - I've never had to pay brokerage fees or taxes on top of anything. They also have 100 free cards (just pay shipping) deals sometimes. They can do rounded corners, UV coating, double sided full colour printing etc. but nothing too fancy like die cuts.

Also, the card stock is 15pt. It's pretty nice and thick - I've gotten quite a few compliments on my cards.

just as an update. i bought a 200 pack (10 per page) of high quality, clean edge business card template paper from staples for $17 just to see if my $100 Epson inkjet would get the job done. it took some work to get the alignment on but now I've got it pretty decent.

just a colour logo in the top left with my name and contact info on a white back ground.

it isnt fancy, but it definitly gets the job done.
