fourtirefire 04-07-2009 12:04 PM

Ok, thread split. It was a bit off topic from autocross.
Let's discuss upcoming and previous wheeling adventures in here!

jeffh 04-07-2009 03:00 PM

me and justin are gonna go do some trail cleanup at the rock garden next week after work sometime, then april 19th is gonna see a bunch of heeps spend a day out there

get the garbage pile we passed on the way in, and then clean-up any more of that sharp deadwood that killed his tire.

RRxtar 04-07-2009 05:11 PM

can i play?

Sounds like you'll need a chainsaw to get rid of some of those downed trees, better not tell waylon!

pics and vid from today forthcomming

jeffh 04-10-2009 08:48 PM

so today, me ryan and danny piled into the heep, and chased around some little quads, and a big 4 cylinder quad

lil zuki goes at the hard line on Randys rock

http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w...0/DSC01045.jpg

then i go at the easy line and pwn it again just to prove to myself it wasnt a one time thing

http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w...0/DSC01054.jpg

took a couple tries, but got her again

then we rolled up a creek bed to cake-rock, the zuki had a score to settle with some of the more retarded obstacles, he just got new tires to wail on
his PS belt comes off, so he fixes that and Ryan makes himself comfortable in the zuki while we are waiting. John tells him to take it for a spin

http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w...0/DSC01056.jpg

http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w...0/DSC01058.jpg

mustang, civic, crazy suzuki its all the same to proshoraca i guess

so john gets back in his zuki to tackle some stuff, im pretty sure we all thought he was retarded when he lined up at this spot, but whadya know, he gets through like nothing

http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w...h_MOV01060.jpg

http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w...0/DSC01061.jpg

http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w...h_MOV01062.jpg

then he climbs more shit, the quadders show up again, zumvette's older brother broke a tie rod, we try to fix with duct tape and zap straps, no go

then someone gets an idea?

http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w...0/DSC01071.jpg

on the way home

http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w...0/DSC01074.jpg

we went back up the mountain after the broke quad got sorted
rest of the pics/video here

Yet another epic day it was, can't forget the exhaust carnage on the heep!

proshoraca 04-10-2009 10:20 PM

that thing is pretty wicked. aim general direction, run over anything in your way, done.

zumvette 04-11-2009 12:31 AM

I think has a few more ponies than my lil quad I think I has as much as the crazy crawler zuki lol

jeffh 04-19-2009 09:49 PM

nother day up cake-rock, more broken shit ahaha

Iceman-19 04-20-2009 06:49 AM

jeffh 04-20-2009 05:03 PM

how were the boggers for trail driving?

SpooSports 04-20-2009 07:19 PM

Solid, as long as you air'd em down to 5-10psi. they were amazing. I also used pro-comp xterrains and MTR's. the boggers were the best....except for the person following behind, they make great rock chuckers

Iceman-19 04-20-2009 07:47 PM

What happend to that rig?

down_hill_dog 04-20-2009 09:16 PM

you guys make me want to buy a shitty 4x haha it looks fun

Smoke Show 05-01-2009 11:32 PM

i ran my 40" boggers at 15 psi. i found they worked good around there, don't try too much side hilling either.. but point and you will go.

here is my video in my dodge diesel racing the rcmp truck at the mud bogs... my favourite video.. oh btw i'm in the deep pit before i get too much flack!

RRxtar 05-02-2009 01:19 AM

down_hill_dog 05-02-2009 07:38 AM

The officer of the law was in a ford, you had no chance deep pit or not. :P

jeffh 05-02-2009 08:18 AM

last night we helped some highchool kids get a grand back onto 4 wheels, then up a steep bank. we didnt do the towing, but helped rig it up
