Just curious about computer privacy
 

Let's say you are at your gf's home using her computer/laptop, do you have
the intention to check and read her personal stuff, like email, blog, facebook,
IE history, temp files, forum, PM, etc? OR it has been your routine job since
day one you two were together? OR you would never cause you are a honest
bf?

OK, even assume you are a honest bf, would you randomly click on her
desktop folders that catch your attention, I am talking about...you know...a
folder that says "Porn" or "My photos" or "My personal video" or "photos of my
ex bf" or you would interigate her first?

What about yourself, do you set password so your gf can't check your stuff?

I don't check and would never check without her knowing. I have passwords on my stuff and she doesn't know them as I feel that a little privacy is important. If you have full trust there should be no reason to check her stuff and vice versa.

id do it without thinking twice. just cause im a computer a geek and like to see what people have on their computers.
also, a lot of girls are camera whores who like to take tons of pictures, but then will only give you back some of them while keeping some for just themselves. you can tell a lot about a chick by looking at the pics she'll let you see and then the pics she hides from you.

i got caught once. it was pretty funny. she dumped me eventually haha.

I would not, even though it's too easy, and I probably have some doubts, but hey, it's all part of trust.

She can check on me if she wants; I have nothing incriminating, just lots of immaturity. :p

it will be VERY tempting, but i think i will have to hold myself back for a second and ask if there is a good reason for me to snoop. if i'm nosy then i'll ask how i'd feel if he did this to me (as i like to private with certain things). plus i'm a firm believer that i have no reason NOT to trust him if he hasn't given me a reason to doubt him.

if it's a folder on her computer, or if she keeps her online passwords saved, I'd say fair game on pretty much everything but the temp files if she lets you use her computer. If she's allowing you to use her computer then IMO that counts as her permitting you to see anything on there not covered by an unsaved password. It's her own damn fault if there's smething incriminating and she didn't clear it out before letting you use her computer.

I probably wouldn't check.
I don't care enough to check; because I like to keep things fairly simple.
I figured, we'd both be a lot happier if I pretended to be "knowledgeably oblivious".

She, on the other hand, could check all she wants.
Because other than the stack of porn here and there (which really reminds her of how horrible she might be in bed), I don't particularly like using text to go about my regular routines.

This is why I have USB memory keys no one would ever know about.
