Well, I made it... 26 hours without much sleep and then out drinking with my boss and a co-worker from a different division. All of my co-workers want to take me out and about, so there will be lots of sight seeing not to mention the nightly "nomu communication" (drinking with associates).

There's a lot of neat cars in the neighborhood where my apartment is, I'll walk around with a camera one morning when I'm not jet legged and hung over. My favorite so far is a body kitted Honda wagon.

I'm lazy and somewhat drunk after many beers at a Korean BBQ restaurant with one of our programmers and don't feel like uploading everything twice...

Tomorrow, Ginza by myself to buy the wife some pretty and far too expensive... and find more Sushi since this trip has wrecked western Sushi for me and I wont be back to Japan for another 3 months.

Umm, the best description of what I do is Product Manager. I work for http://www.fixstars.com (they acquired my old company last fall)

Last fall, I was traveling around 25% of the time, although this is only my second trip in 2009. I spent a week in the states at the beginning of April.

I added some more pictures... including some of a crazy Japanese biker gang.

Is it still possible to buy used undies from vending machines there?

I didn't see any weird stuff in vending machines... beer, drinks, smokes, and food items but I didn't spend a lot of time in the seedier areas of town... just the business and tourist districts. I don't know how they do it, but the canned coffee was more than drinkable and hope that western convenience stores catch on to the idea that fresh food means more sales... 500yen for a big bento box, 250 yen for a decent sandwich or a 500ml beer. (100 yen ~= $1USD). Restaurants are extremely expensive, the few meals I had by myself were always around 4000 yen and I wasn't eating anywhere fancy. Most restaurants also seem to double their prices after 4PM.

I finally made it home today, took a lot pictures on the train ride back to Narita (the airport is 60km outside of Tokyo) which I should get up tomorrow.
