Is there a recommended teacher someone can refer me to that can teach me how to play the guitar well?

Thanks

youtube/tabs and all are all good, but they aren't going to tell you that your technique is terrible. seriously a good teacher will improve your playing tenfold

Is it too late for someone in their late 20's to start learning how to play a guitar?

Nope, the only thing holding you back is, when you get older you usually have more responsibilities and won't have as much time to practice. And practising is the mooostt important thing, at least 1-2 hours everyday =)

Also your fingers will probably not be as fluid as if you started when you were young.
