Sushi restaurant in Langley Hey guys, I checked out the sushi thread but I couldn't see if there were any that were specific to langley. I'm organizing a sushi lunch tomorrow for a different car club forum, and I need some recommendations for sushi places SPECIFICALLY in Langley. Does anyone have any suggestions? The only one I've gotten from the other site is Ninja Sushi or something, and that's only because the guys uncle or something works there. I really need your guys' help! TIA! |
Seh-mi (I think it's spelt like that). 56th Ave and 203rd, across the street from 7-11. |
Thanks :D |

They aren't open on sundays =[ anyone know anywhere that is? |
Nothing is open on Sundays. This is Langley, yo! Most of the town is already shutdown by 9. |
Seh-Mi... :lol It looks like such a shit hole from the outside, but the food that comes from within is fantastic. There's not real good sushi places in Langley that are open on Sundays. The only ones tend to be the bigger chains. |
theres a place right across from Katanas and it's been ok the last couple times I've gone their. |
Theres one in Guildford that pretty good. its right across guildford mall in a small plaza. |
There's Nakama on 20300 Fraser hwy. They have some interesting specialty rolls. |

Yah Akasaka is my favorite sushi restaurant. I have never ever had a bad meal there. For Langley I would recommend Hirame. It's a bit of a drive down 200th St... I think somewhere around 40 Ave. It's in Brookswood. Used to go there all the time. |
Check out Shermans blog...he regularly eats out near delta/langley/surrey. http://www.shermansfoodadventures.com/ |
Katana isn't bad but I'd go there more for the teppan show than for sushi. I'd also give a thumbs up for Akasaka but that's in Surrey. Anyways, I'd recommend Nikko Sushi on 22372 Fraser Highway. It's near the Langley Hospital, in the same complex as Subway (don't mistake it for the other sushi place just west of it in the complex with A&W/Shoppers Drug Mart). You can only enter going east on Fraser Highway so plan your route accordingly if you decide to go there. Owner/chef is a very nice guy. He's Korean but he lived in Japan for a while and his sushi is always good in my books (kitchen food is just average though like udon, gyoza, teriyaki etc). |
Im not a Fan of Nikko. Seh-Mi is the best Bang for your Buck. Tokyo Sushi by Spa Utopia is good. RA-Sushi in Walnut Grove Near the Mcdonalds is the best Sushi in Langley in My opinion. Me and a couple buddys have gone to every Sushi place in Langley we could find. Unless its brand new we have been there. |

I have a growing addiction for toro. My cousin visited this summer, and went on an all-out eating expedition which included a dozen visits to various sushi places. Toro was his order of choice, and it got me hooked. I've been going to Tokyo Sushi (across from Costco), as their toro is always great and fresh. I've tried Ninja Sushi, and their toro can't compare. Any recommendations for Langley places that have awesome toro, at a reasonable price ($1.50 - $2.00)? Is there any place with otoro? I need to know what I'm missing out on. |
any sushi place owned by japanese in langley? |
check out sushi garden across from metro ! |
