The BBQ place underneath Richmond Superstore

The chef came from the BBQ place on Anson street in Coq.

I find their BBQ Pork which their famous for is good. However, I don't find their other stuff being that great. It was aight but not outstanding.

OP where do you live? I mean I cans uggest places but if you have to drive across a couple cities then it ain't gonna work. I always go to the one at 1st adn Renfrew upstairs cause it's right by my house, prices are decent, and it's pretty good overall imo for all meats.

i'm around broadway station, so i'm guessing distance-wise probably chinatown radius

it covers a lot, south victoria to chinatown and probably renfrew to cambie

Try the one at 1st anf renfrew then. In your area your choices are limited and no the chinatown places aren't really that great. 1st and Renfrew is only a 5 min drive from Broadway station anyways so in terms of distance it's hella close. I agree that the place below superstores BBQ pork is dope but in terms of overall this place is better. I wouldn't say anything here WOWS you like crazy but everything from bbq pork to duck to soy chicken etc are all pretty consistantly decent.

I find the roast pork ("siu yujk") best at the place below Superstore. But their prices are not cheap whatsoever! Face it, Richmond siu laap stores are more expensive than the ones in Chinatown.

For a quick fix of Chinese BBQ meats, this place is pretty tough to beat for the quality and the price. My family has been going to that place for many years. I recommend it.

Yeap, I can vouch for that too. It's called Hopewell. They have a Coquitlam branch as well.

+1 for Hopewell, they started in their tiny little Coquitlam store and then went over to Richmond. Best roast pork by far!

the one above t&t on first and renfrew is ok. but the guy chops them like in huge chunks! everyone that goes there always tells the guy to cut into smaller pieces. their bbq duck is ok, price is cheap for the size because other places have smaller bbq ducks.

if in the area, we normally go to the bbq house on victoria by 49th.

i picked up bbq pork and duck today on an $8 platter, i think i got crummy cuts though, the pork had more fat than i was expecting and i got a dark meat duck quarter cut

i'll be sure to try the roast pork next time and if i get duck again order at least a half so i don't get all the bones
