I don't know of any downtown. You can check the websites for Chevron, Esso, Shell and Petro Canada.

The closest ones I found were a Petro Canada on Granville and 65th and Chevron in West Van near the Upper Levels Highway. Some stations you can do tank exchanges. You can try Canadian Tire and Superstore as well, but those aren't downtown either. I forgot you can try the Husky gas stations to.

I typed into yahoo and it came up with Propane Emporium on Burrard in some forum.

i dont know about refilling but you can buy into an exchange program at the esso on burrard & 4th or at the canadian tire on cambie & 7th. basically you pay about $50-60 for the first tank that is full and when its empty you return it and pay $20-25 for another one that is full. whenever your current tank is empty just return it for a new one and pay the fee.
