It probably cost more than 85k to build, but the seller is a fool if he thinks he'll get most of that back. Projects like this are money suckers. Rarely ever profitable, more for just personal enjoyment. He won't get 85k.
I think he knows he won't sell it for that much. Just tossing the price to see what happens.
I know the current owner didn't build it.. it was imported like that from the East Coast US.
A little OT, but anyone knows where that last pic from the Supra add was taken? The skyline one?

got a few rear shots of the 991 turbo development car... couldnt get a pic of the front. front end resembled the older gt3 bumper under all that camo. headlights were a bit different than standard 991. rolled down window to listen... it was quiet! haha Posted via RS Mobile

They are testing the new mini Cayenne locally too!
saw the cayman, cayman s, 991 cabrio S, 991 targa 4s and 2x 991 turbos in the convoy. all had radio antennas! pretty cool following them. turbo had a mean presence... they put on 997 tail light stickers to cover up the 991 tails... maybe a new tail design? i know the headlights are a little different from the standard car Posted via RS Mobile

They brought it here so they would be able to test out the real world nimbleness of the car. Forget the track, when you can try to dodge other cars plowing into you
