The resteraunt for the kurbata tonkatsu is maisen http://www.lonelyplanet.com/japan/to...aurants/396231
It's good.
Service is good.
It's pricey 2900 yen for just that.
It has parking attendants outside. I sat at the bar. Food came within 5 minutes. It was delicate with not a whole lot of grease. It came with a side of mango icecream I believe.
The tempura place is Ten-Ichi... And unless you want to spend 150 CAD on tempura I don't recommend it. There are some really good tempura places in asukasa though.
It's located in Ginza, just around the corner from the sony store.
The unagi guy.
That guy is the best. I ate 10 pieces. It's 100 yen per piece. Which is pretty damn pricey, but you figure out that you really don't give a shit.
It's in the tsukiji fish market.
Japanese Wendy's.
Everything fastfood tasted better in japan. plus at mos burger ther eis always cute girls working behind the counters
The katsu-don i have no idea where i bought it, but it's impossible to have one bad meal anywhere in tokyo. Seriously. Rent is so expensive that if your resteraunt isn't good it shuts down.

I remember I was in Roppongi Hills and saw 2 pcs Goyoza for 800 yen. Needless to say, I didn't eat anything while I was there.
In Kyoto, some famous tofu resturant. I think this was a 20,000 yen meal. Not a single piece of meat.
I usually ate at the cheaper places where 800-900 yen can get you something like this
Or when I was really hungry and feeling cheap. I'd eat 2 of these for 300-400 yen |

seems almost every dish in japan has put in thoughts and effort into it, in order to present to the consumers. So delicate... |
