LA questions?

im just wondering how strict they are with their alcohol drinking? im legal to drink here but not legal there yet. but i will be hanging out with guys older than me though. do they card often?


how much cash limit can i bring until the US customs starts getting suspicious?

safe to bring my laptop/psp/ipod without them dismantling the gagdets? im a digital pirate.

going by air btw.

$10,000 is the most you can bring across the border before you have to declare it.

they id pretty heavily at clubs and bars, you might be able to get away with it at restos.


if all else fails, try having your friends order pitchers.

From my experiences of being in the states when eating out they often will ID me. I'm 26 right now and this has happened to me quite a few times when I was well over 21 already. Even a 20 something year old typical asian guy from Vancouver to some of those people down there you still look like your just a little boy. Of course in vegas though I've never been IDed. In LA I got IDed many times though

You can try but there's a very good (in fact, high) chance they'll ask you for ID.
