Together 12 years, married 5 and since we've been married nothing more then flowers. We spend money on our kid and other things instead of gifts, we don't buy birthday or Xmas gifts for each other either.

I did buy my wife a gift for her 30th birthday last year but thats just because it was one of those milestones but generally speaking we just don't do it. Now when it comes to my son there is nothing I wouldn't get for him within reason.
