Best Entertainment Book Restaurants I always have problems deciding on what restaurants to go to out of the Entertainment Book. I was just wondering if you guys had any suggestions for good ones to try... Thanks |
why not try all of them to make your book worth it? |
Most of the restaurants listed in the "Card" section/front of the book are good! Fine dining! My boyfriend and I like Al Porto in Gastown, and Kobe on Alberni St. downtown. |
What designer rice said. I'd add Le Gavroche to that list off the top of my head. Other than that just use it to try new restaurants without having to worry about getting your money's worth. |
Old Surrey Restaurant if you want good food and great service. They make the ceasar salad right at the table from scratch. Flambe during the summer as well I believe. |
my friends went to stonegrill its worth it if u have 2 for 1 coupon from entertainment book but the portions arent big enough so its good if u wanna go for the experience. |
Amarcord...and get two of the lobster pastas if they're eligible. |

- griffins - prima taste - planning to go to armacord soon |
been to amacord twice. i remember liking the lobster pasta, but not their regular entrees. add the cannery to the list. |
Yeah I need to try out Amarcord too. I'd order a lobster pasta (on Senna4ever's recommendation) and get a pasta dish for my wife (for free). Also want to try the salmon wellington at Cannery... |
Salmon Wellington at Cannery? Not even close to their best dish ... have you tried their smoked black cod? |
Yes, you must try the black cod at the Cannery!!! It's a little confusing to get to the location though. |
Salmon Wellington was good but not outstanding, pretty over-rated IMO~ |
was cannery going to be closed down until a new location is up.. igotta google this up .... |
