Just watched it tonight.
Hilarious, but rather quick paced. If you can't understand British accents that well you might not enjoy it as much.
Ending wasn't as awesome as I had imagined it to be, but it has a pretty good resolution.

that kick in the balls scene in the trailer with Rachel McAdams never happened in the movie, unless I missed something while I was returning a text message.

Just watched it tonight. I liked it. Jude Law was pretty good. Stole some scenes. Also like how they reinvented the characters so that Watson wasn't just a bumbling old man of an assistant...

The scene/part of the movie with Rachel in the red corset is not in the movie, but is shown in the trailer in OP. Boo, I would have liked to see it. Wonder why it was removed.

Watched it Christmas Day. Liked it, thought it was well paced & smart. The British Accents gt a litttttttle thick at times but it's okay. Just pay attention!

Can't wait for the sequel. has the makings of a good trilogy.

good pace, good acting, good humour.. i like the faithful rendition of the original conan-doyle's messy but detail oriented, drug using sherlock.

just when i though they were going to ruin the movie by brining in some bullshit magic shit (a-la indiana jones crystal skull) they saved it with a logical and graceful plot.

It lived up to my expectations. Nothing oscar worthy but something worth watching. I liked the parts where it would show in slow-mo what he was going to do while narrating it.

Not really a spoiler, but the ending clearly leads to a sequel with the more well known story about Moriarty.

Just watched it today. The speaking was hard to follow with the accents. Needed more of Rachel McAdams, hopefully the sequel has more of her..

iirc it's been posted somewhere that there was going to be a sequel for sure

The dialogue between Holmes and Watson was clever and well-executed, and although a bit faster-paced than I expected from a Sherlock Holmes interpretation, the action scenes made up a bit for it. I mean seriously... JUDE LAW KICKING ASS. God damn.

Loving Jude Law and Robert Downey Jr, indeed the cutest bromance
I really liked how it's fast-paced, really emphasized on the wittiness and cleverness of the pair.

I wouldnt mind seeing it again, when dvd is out of course

there were some guy richie movies that were crap but this one was decent. they totally re-invented holmes for 2010 and it worked out really really well. there were so much hype but i was travelling in hK so i had no idea and it totally lived up to expectations.
