i don't think its that you don't give a shit, i think its because you have so many more responsibilities and priorities when your older.

Expensive is relative. If all you wear is $20 jeans and $5 shirts, your not going anywhere fast.

A stylish wardrobe (which doesn't necessarily mean super expensive labels) is one of the best investments you can make. I pity young people who dress like crap day in and day out.

That may be the case for blue collar workers but in the case of white collars, the older you get (or the higher you are up the corporate ladder) people tend to care more about what they wear. Its not because they're making more money but because they understand the importance of being presentable and standing out from the crowd.

"Working out is modern couture. No outfit is going to make you look or feel as good as having a fit body. Buy less clothing and go to the gym instead." - Rick Owens

I guarantee that I will look better in a $20 t-shirt that flatters my body than someone who spends 10 times more

superstore even sell clothing?

edit: i've never seen bill gates or most of the fortune 500 keeping up with trends in their rise, mostly young yuppies who have material run their life subscribing to GQ ESQ etc etc

Because it's club culture, girls with high expectations, and guys trying to impress them.

Hence why alot of young guys

-lease nice cars
-buy expensive clothing
-have to seem like their balling

I bought into the lifestyle not too long ago and regret it.

I blame working in a club environment where 99% of the girls I meet are nuts and buy into the whole gucci/lv/chanel lifestyle and the older fucks with money who date girls 10-15 years younger than them.

I fucking hate well off 30 year olds. Always cutting my grass.

There are idiots that like to be walking advertisements but you can not deny that quality and fit will cost more money.

Having said that, I will much prefer a fitted v neck white t shirt ( ironically, I feel is more rare) over skulls and bedazzles any day.

Yes, tried the American ones but when I went, they only had super deep V's and Im not ready to share cleavage or my chest hair just quite yet.

There is a store on Commerical (mintage), that carries alternative apparel. And A/X is good but you need like 3 sizes up or something. And their arm holes are made for woman.
