Where to buy rolled carbon fiber?

Need a piece of rolled carbon fiber tube about a foot long and 3 inches in diameter. Anybody selling locally?

I doubt it.

Online might be your best bet for something like this.

What you could do, is find shops that have rolls of carbon fibre, get them to cut you a piece, and get it fibre'd yourself.

Not necessarily the best idea. You don't want the fibers getting inside your engine and it's going to be hard to make sure the inside is properly sealed to prevent that.

I guess you are talking about resin/eproxy remaining get sucked into the engine,
not the CF itself, if it is properly cured like the picture above.

the only chance CF fiber get sucked into the engine is if you cut the CF with
scissors or saw.
