depends what kind of food you're aiming for and how casual/formal you want the date to be. my very first date with my boyfriend was at bubble world and i couldn't have asked for a better place. the setting is laid back and you don't need to spend a fortune to get full. if you 2 are still getting to know each other something like BW is something i'd consider since it won't feel like there's so much pressure to impress or anything.

good luck!

wtf are you talking about? you've never been to metrotown? besides Hart House is nowhere near metro. It's near my house in Deer Lake lol. Anyways you should try Sushi Garden which is right across the street beside Green Basil.

Green Basil is good for their lunch specials, not sure what the times were, but it's around 12pm-3pm ish I think. I would recommend going only for the lunch specials because they can get pretty expensive, but if you're not concerned about the price it's a decent - good place to eat.

OP- If you're into sushi, Sushi Garden is pretty nice, but always packed.
