making beef brisket
 
does anyone know how to make beef brisket like the ones in pho or cantonese style in noodle soup??

I gotta craving for it and i wanna make myself lol

its the same as beef stew.. basically..

cut of brisket.. cut into cubes..
onions, celery, carrots..
beef stock/red wine
add potatoes if you want !

brown meat..remove meat.. add veggies.. add back the meat... add red wine.. then add beef stock.. lower heat to a small simmer... simmer for a long time.. till meat is tender...

Our household has a simple beef brisket recipe like this ...

- Saute shallots, garlic, star anise, sichuan pepper in a large saucepan until brown and aromatic
- add large cubed beef briskets, a little water, light soy sauce, oyster sauce and slowly simmer for a couple hours
- turn up the heat to evaporate and concentrate the juice, then add more oyster sauce for taste, dark soy sauce for colour, rose extract wine for fragrance

Should be easy enough ... takes 15 minutes of preparation at the beginning, 2 hours of web surfing, and then 5 more minutes at the end.
