I have always loved Conan since I started watching, in the late 90's. He was always on past my bedtime before that (born in 82). Used to religiously watch Leno and for whatever reason I stopped like it other than Monday nights about 5-6 years ago. I can't pinpoint why, I just stopped finding him funny around then.

he didnt get that mainstream until his later years, but conan was always a funny guy. i watched his first few seasons and i always thought he was awesome! his guests sucked bad because he wasnt well known yet though, but i didnt care.. he was naturally funny. cant say the same for fallon... not a funny man and has no concept of situational jokes. also bad at interacting with the crowd and his guests. just doesnt deserve the show. also he has awesome guests to help him out but he still falls flat. he sucked bad on SNL, not sure why they ever handed him this show.

I've caught all of Conan's show since he started on the Late Night Show. I've got to say that's it's been great so far. I love all the little skits he does. Anyone check out that episode when he went to the Science Fair in Reno? Hilarious stuff.

Anyone else here find Andy Richter(sp?) kind of pointless? His skits aren't really that funny. I loved the talking stage that appeared a couple of episodes ago. I'd much rather have that stage take over Andy's position.

my problem with leno is it seems like the writers are responsible for all his jokes. its like hes a stand up comedian, just reads joke after joke off the teleprompter.

conan on the other hand adds a lot of character in his jokes and monologue. sure he reads off the teleprompter too, but in between jokes where he makes random comments or acts goofy is where he shines. natural humor. he should definitely ditch andy richter tho... guy has always been pretty useless. max is way funnier. anyone remember max on max? rofl

Strange you should think that, some of the best Simpsons moments were written by Conan

Andy hasn't found his groove since he's back on the Tonight Show. Before he left Late Night back in 2000, him and Conan had uncanny chemistry...it's still missing right now.

Ohh right, totally forgot about that. But the way I meant it is how Family Guy is mostly random funny similar to Conan's funny faces and movements.
