good show, crowd was ecstatic, and will ferrell is fucking hilarious

although i kinda miss leno

and i was actually switching back and forth to Letterman to see if they mention or referrence anything to each other

Letterman did a slight rib on Conan during his top 10.. otherwise i still think their good friends

im hoping one day Leno will make an appearance on Letterman about his new show..

forgot to watch it

id rather have Leno continue though... retarded that NBC made him quit the Tonight Show
and it was hilarious on Lenos last show that him and Conan were pretending to be buddies... they also mentioned that the studio was filled with executives to make sure everything runs smoothly :/

Lettermans still funnier tho

I thought it was pretty good. But I just cannot stand Will Ferrell and didn't find him funny at all.. maybe my sense of humour just sucks but ya..

atleast leno will still lead into conan's show so it's all good

I was never really a fan of Leno and liked Conan's goofy style comedy more. I fear that being on earlier, Conan won't be as funny because he's gonna have to be more subdued.... I hope my fear is unfounded as time goes on but you can already see it with his interview with Will Ferrell.... if it was Late Night, Ferrell would've been in his fruity leprachaun outfit in 5 mins... I guess it's bye bye masturbating bear

where did you hear that nbc wants him to quit. and why would you say they were pretending to be buddies.. i'm not sure if that's true. I do know that you're a letterman fan, maybe that's why?

exactly. I never liked conan and i had a chance to see him live in NY and it was ok.
Will F. was NOT a good guest on the show. Being in that specific time slot, it would have been much better to find someone that the middle age american can relate to. Nothing too political (eg/ arnold, when he was there for 9/11 and during leno's last few shows) but Will F was totally not a good fit.

i've never been a big conan fan and his first show wasn't very entertaining. i'm already looking ahead to see what jay's new show will be like in a few months.

Conan is my favourite of the late night talk shows. Leno isn't bad either but I find Letterman to be pretty boring and I really don't find the guy to be funny/entertaining. Now, Jimmy Fallon..... LOL so many of his segments are embarrassing/fail and he laughs way too much at almost everything.

The only other show (besides Conan) that I watch at night is Colbert Report which is hilarious!

Is his new format only going to have one actor/star out per show? Or is it only going to happen for his first few episodes

I thought Conan did pretty well for his first show. It's gonna take a lil bit of time for him to fit into the Tonight Show.

My personal ranking would be:
1 - Craig Ferguson
2 - Conan O'Brien
3 - Jay Leno
4 - Tie between Jimmy Fallon and Dave Letterman
5 - Spike Ferguson
6 - The guy from MTV that used to date Tara Reid
