e-canteen is great for their fried noodles / rice. they pork, ribs, beef, chicken combo ... somehow never sat well with me and i always get sick / food poisioning after.

Kingspark is amazing O_O there food is pretty good.
All chinese resturaunts have bad service, if you're looking for good service try not going to a asian place :/

This place is really not that bad.
Pretty good food, and i actually had pretty good service the last couple times that i was there.
I think the OP just ran into a bad server.
I agree the guy with the glasses probably doesn't give the best service, but the rest of them seem to be pretty decent.

I've never had good service at any HK Style Cafe. Alleluiah, E-Canteen, Kingspark. Maybe it's because I'm brown, I don't know. Yet, I can go to a Japanese restaurant and be treated with respect. It's a shame, the food is cheap, but that doesn't mean service has to be sacrificed. Quote:

I've never had problem with anything or any food at Kings Park, breakfast, lunch or dinner. The guy with the monkey suit is great, so is the chubby guy.
E-Canteen I use to go to, often...until one time we were sitting there waiting for our food, and behold... a cockroach is freely walking across the ledge right above the dirty dishes... we were to damn close to it I could see it's whiskers. NEVER been back since.

Funny that the OP should mention about horrible service @ Kingspark.. I can sort of tell that OP is probably not Chinese...
Although the incident would be pretty annoying, I wouldn't think that I would be pissed off enough to rant about on a forum. Probably b/c I'm from HK and am used to the service.
You can't expect service like The Keg or Moxie's or something when you're paying 7 bucks taxes in for a full meal with a drink... that's the price of an appie or a drink @ those places. You pay for the service @ Western restaurants.. if you want good service, pay for it. Stop going to HK-style cafes and expect good service...
I have to admit though that most people I deal with gives acceptable service... if they mouth off @ me I'll probably get pretty pissed off but worst I'll do it not leave them a tip or something.
