I have to get myself one of these electric turbos!

Some kid buys a electric "turbo" for his POS altima. Installs it BACKWARDS so it sucks air OUT of the engine instead of pushing air in. As a result the car stalls when he turns on the "boost" during idle.
He tries to argue that its installed correctly and he can feel the boost kicking in and the power gains at high RPM

Read the thread, its worth it.

"To the op, you're a ****ing idiot. You clearly have no idea of the physics involved (as evidenced by the fact that you installed your squirrel cage fan BACKWARDS so it's SUCKING air out of your engine when it's running). You ever wonder WHY your car dies when you turn it on at idle? Ever heard of the conversion of energy and the fact that it's never 100% efficient? How the hell can you convert mechanical energy from the engine to electrical energy to drive your biliage pump, then back to mechanical energy pushing the air into your engine and GAIN power? And never mind the physics. You really believe that when the engine it outflowing your air pump that it's still helping by making it easier for the engine to suck air in? NONONO, It's a restriction!

Also you think because you installed it that you know what you are talking about? So if someone installs a scam product WRONG, it instantly becomes right because they installed it? How the hell does that logic even work? I would love to live in your world. Wrong shit is right because I said so because I installed it wrong. Kickass.

You're also doomed to an early grave when that sharp edged hole you drilled through your firewall cuts through the insulation on your e-bullshit turbocharger's power wire and shorts out. If you survive, make sure you post pics of your burnt car then argue that it's not really burnt because of some quantum mechanical disruption in the space-time continuum."

owned.
