Aston Martin Rapide Production Model Spied Undisguised

Quote:
"From what we gather, the test car must be one of the final prototype models of the four-door Aston that is scheduled to be officially revealed to the public at the Frankfurt motorshow in mid-September. The undisguised prototype is finished in a menacing black color with a contrasting red interior.

Poised to take on any top-notch sport sedan including the most powerful variants of the Porsche Panamera, the Rapide will be offered with a 6.0-liter V12 engine that churns out 470bhp and 600Nm of torque. Power will be driven to the rear wheels through a six-speed ZF automatic transmission with Aston's Touchtronic control.

The Rapide that will be built by Magna Steyr in Graz, will begin arriving at Aston Martin showrooms around the world in early 2010. As for prices don't expect anything lower than $200k.."

While I do like the design of their current coupes, they need to venture out and explore some new exterior designs.

neone think the back is a bit too tall,
oversized headlights too..

still a nice ride, but had they just taken the vantage and extended it I would've liked it too. Vantage is still my fave car

if u can afford this car you don't wash your own wheels neways,

Seems like it has a greyish effect too so they'll probably be less prone to getting dirty

fisker automotive is their own company, i think (still) based in california.

you might have seen their coachwork stuff, such as the Tramonto (rebodied SL merc) and Latigo CS (BMW 6 series)... google it

62% better looking than the Panamera. But the 2-door is 76% better looking than the 4-door.*

* Using statistics compliled in my mind.
