The rider was coming out of T9 and did a tank slapper.
He ended up hitting the concrete wall in front of the pits while doing 100+ km/h.

One complaint was it took the ambulance over 20 minutes to get to Mission Raceway.

Are you fucking kidding thats way to long? Hmmm I thought you had to have an ambulance on hand in order to hold an event there. I thought it was part of the contract?

From what I read, there was an ambulance on site as well as a trama doctor, but the "real" ambulance that was used to take the rider to Abbotsford hospital took 20 minutes to get to the track. And once at the hospital, I believe the rider was then airlifted to Royal Columbian.

I was in the same catagory as him at track day. He was about 8 secs in front of me, I caught a glimpse of a waving red flag as I went by T7, didn't have time or space to stop so I had to ride to the next corner worker at T1. I passed by him and he was motionless. I had a bad chill down my spine when I rolled by. Speculation may have been a tank slapper but it's still unknown what happened. My friends who were in the pit witnessed the crash. In the split second 1 of my friends saw, was him coming out of T9 and for some reason sat up. Next thing his bike goes tumbling down the track with him right behind it. He landed roughly halfway down the straightaway and his bike landed at the Start/Finish line.

RIP Cam
