If you are talking about supersports, the 07+ 600RR sits more upright, has seats that are way easier on your bumcheeks and is generally easier to ride on the street. The R6 is the opposite.

Kawasaki is going backward ever since the 636 and I don't like the exhaust on the new GSX-R compared to the 06-07; but GSX-R 750 is a nice bike between the 600 and the liter class.

it depends on your comfort with the bike... i would say the GSXR is the easiest to ride out of all of them, the seating position is really low, so if you're short, it's probably the best for you. The R6 is probably the highest seating position and it's harder to ride.

For looks i say: R6, then the gixxer, then the cbr, then the ninja.

For performance, i say the R6, then the cbr, then the gixxer, then the ninja.

Overall, i prefer the R6 cause i own one :-)

honda's - easiest to learn on - seating's very upright. power's very constant.

yamaha - can't really remember the specifics, but the 01 r6 was fun.

suzuki - fast bike, better hang on - seating's very leaned forward. jerky throttle will throw you back if you open it up.

kawasaki - poor resale value. would never consider buying one.

the 09 zx6r was rated the best 600 this year.
I myself ride an 07 600rr and wouldn't trade it for anything. It was between the 600rr and gsxr 600 for me but the guy let me ride a 750 instead. I went with the 600rr because it feels much better. the gsxr750 is same price as 600rr though.

Street riding....

anything with a smooth transmission and good ride position, I care less about the handling, stopping power, weight etc...they are very very similar anyway.

tried a few 600cc, 400cc, and a Ducati in the past, can't say I prefer this over that.

The 600RR is the most comfortable supersport ever... haha.
