There's a Gundam movie?

I don't think you can use coupon for Transformers... Watched it there when I was back in HK a week ago but when I ordered the tickets online, it said that I couldn't use coupon to redeem a ticket for Transformers.

^watching movies in HK is not fun at all...

1) you can't drive to watch a movie, it costs a lot for the parking
2) no ATM booth, so you can have wait in the boxoffice lineup
3) you have to mark your seats, which is gay
4) online booking will charge you $6 extra per ticket
5) and yeah, can't use a coupon
6) the screens are fucking small, unless you pay more for the imax @ megabox

I liked it better when you were the notorious MSG :gayfight:

Gundam would be pretty badass, I'm kind of over Transformers by now. Transformers 2 was sick, yeah, but I don't see how they can keep up a compelling storyline.

Type V 07-08-2009 12:44 AM

GUNDAM or MACROSS... Michael Bay just killed TF2... as much of a TF can as I am, I'll watch TF3 and I will line up again for the 12AM showing... but if GUNDAM or MACROSS (live action) was also showing, i'd have to pray for a signal to choose between GIANT ROBOT SUIT or JET FIGHTER ROBOT...

I'm leaning on Macross at the moment :)

shenmecar 07-09-2009 09:57 AM

Gundam for me.

S1 S2 07-09-2009 10:45 AM

Gundam.

+Kardboard+ 07-09-2009 11:36 AM

Gundam FOREVER.

Inaii 07-09-2009 11:45 AM

Gundam. That's the only REAL choice.

1) element is pretty much free, first off its only $8 an hr, and free parking stacks up, i got 9 hrs free last time LOL
2) hardly line up
3) at least you can choose your seat before you go in and unlike silvercity, walking in and end up being full and have to sit in the very front
4) if i ever have to pre buy tickets, i'll get 20 frds and just book the standard chartered room at element and watch it privately with frds, oh yea, its for ANY movie thats showing
5) i never used coupon LOL
6) element's screen is big and the seat literally rocks

megabox

1)I haven't been in HK in ages but isn't transit sick in HK anyways like NY? If so why would it matter that you can't drive?

3) Pros and Cons. When we used to have chinese cinemas here like Aberdeen and stuff at times I would quite enjoy the whole marking seats thing. Pros are you never ever have to go early to lineup.

For me personally now that would be huge. I usually only go watch movies with my gf and we always wait like 2-3 weeks depending on how big the movie is before we go. #1 the lineup deal is hurting. #2 blazing reasons haha. We both smoke and like to get ripped before the movie. Having to lineup makes it impossible if we smoke together because either we lose our seats or we smoke ahead of time which is pointless cause by the time the movie starts i'm sober. Sometimes we will just go one at a time but prefer not to haha.

whtazn 07-12-2009 06:41 PM

gundam! then maybe ninja turtles

Psykopathik 07-23-2009 07:51 PM

+1 for Macross (original one)
