Shipping a vehicle

I was wondering if anybody here has ever shipped a vehicle to another city in Canada before? Where did you ship it to? How much did it cost, what shipping company did you use and how long did it take? Any additional info would be much appreciated! Thank you!

I'm currently in the process of shipping my car from Vancouver to London, Ontario. I'm using Hansen's and it cost 13xx door to door. The car was picked up on July 2nd and it's still in transit. I'll report back when it arrives.

I drove from van to winnipeg... I cost me 300 something in fuel, but it saved me on moving luggage and a plane ticket.

Searail from Vancouver to Montreal, took about 3 weeks and was about $1500 tax in. This was a year ago (when gas prices were high). Battery was dead when the car arrived but they had a booster pack to get me going. I would use them again and recommend them to friends.

update...

car arrived yesterday and everything seems ok. The only thing that annoyed me was that they didn't notify me that they were going to deliver the car yesterday and just showed up. I wasn't home so the driver just left my car in the apartment visitor parking area and then came back later on in the afternoon to drop off the key.

My dad works for Hansen's. They are a pretty good company to deal with. Owner(s) is apparently really cool, down to earth guy, so any problems you have should be able to be sorted out easily enough. I'd stay away from Searail. Too many horror stories out of them. The Hansen's drivers, as well as all the other car hauler drivers in the area won't/don't/refuse to even drive into the searail lot with a car. It's gravel, full of potholes, dogshit etc etc etc. Super unprofesional staff (at least on this side of the country).
