Summer wedding outfit

I have a wedding to attend this weekend and its suppose to be close to 30 degrees

All the weddings I've attended in the past have always been around the fall/spring time and I'd just wear a suit. There is no way I'll survive in this heat while wearing a suit.

What do you guys (that have attended hot summer weddings) wear?

wear anti perspirant , wear an undershirt so ur nipples or chest dont' sweat
and if u are able to pull it off, wear a shirt sleeve shirt with tie?

if you're afraid of sweating, esp. the underarm area, try putting on some baby powder first. that usually helps.

Anything short of a beach wedding, suck it up and wear a suit/tie. This is someone's wedding, show some respect.

Exactly. I'm going to a wedding this weekend too, but I'm going to be doing some work behind the scenes as well as MC'ing. I tend to sweat a lot even with light movements, so I'm just going to bring another shirt I can change into in the evening.

I've never been a fan of anti-perspirants. Just let the body do its cooling naturally and work your wardrobe around this (wearing a lighter coloured suit, bringing an extra shirt or two, etc.) Bring a handkerchief so you can wipe the sweat off of your brow.

could also go with a lighter coloured suit and a short sleeve dress shirt/tie. suit pants are usually pretty thin anyways (at least mine are) and a lighter colour won't attract heat, if you end up outside you can take the jacket off and be cooler in the short sleeve dress shirt with tie. then bring a long sleeve version of the same coloured shirt to switch into later when it cools down or you're inside.

oh and my last bit of advice (I got this idea from my grad) get a little sampler of the cologne you'll be wearing, and keep it in your jacket. that way if you do sweat quite a bit you can hit the bathroom, wash your face and give yourself another shot of cologne so you can keep macking on bridemaids without reeking of sweat
