Regarding Red Light Cameras

Just need some clearing up.

Are points/demerits given out for getting a ticket by a red light camera?
What if the driver(not the registered owner) has an N, will it be suspended or do they have to restart from the beginning?
And if the registered owner just paid the fine, will they receive points/demerits?

Thanks.

No points, no nothing.

Just a letter and a fine goes to the registered owner of said vehicle.

Red light cameras cannot prove who's driving the vehicle, the ticket is mailed to the registered owner by default. No points.

Yes, but only if the driver is nominated.

If they are nominated and have sufficient points, yes.
