used to be my computer for long unsupervised periods for fear of her discovering things she shouldn't be finding, browsing history etc. Not too worried about files, as I have nothing worth hiding on my comp.

For me, it is dictated as such:
Anyone who has any kinds of interpersonal relationship with ballpeenhammer, regardless female or male, interpersonal, sexual or romantic, may and will never have access to the following items:

My car ...
She thinks she can drive a stick ... For that matter, she thinks she's a good driver ... Neither are true ... She's completely oblivious to everything around her when she's driving, rides the clutch the entire time, brakes in the middle of the highway when she realizes she's going 20 km/h over the speed limit, etc.
Maybe it's just me, but every woman I know just uses her rear-view mirror to back up. How about your side mirrors or maybe turning your head and body and actually LOOKING where the hell you're going ? Fuck ... My GF's car has so many scratches and dents from doing this, it's not even funny. Do you think she would learn after driving like this for 6 years and me constantly telling her she needs to learn how to back up properly ? No ... because she's a "good driver."
I just got a new car and she was whining at me the whole way home because she wanted to drive it. Then we got into a huge fight when I told her she's never driving my new car because she wrecked the old one (she didn't crash it, or anything, she just beat it up so bad that it wasn't worth me investing any more money into fixing it).
Oh, and she's also not allowed to touch my computers. She constantly wants to use my gaming machine for random stuff when she's over. I bought her an iMac and a Macbook, but with their constant reliability issues combined with their lack of ability to do everything she wants (i.e. play Need For Speed, use my Windows-only colour laser printer), she insists on using my computer. Once again, she always manages to screw something up when she uses it or makes mountains out of molehills snooping through my conversations. End result, she's not allowed to use my computers anymore.
