Shaded Basketball Courts Hey guys as the title states I am just looking for any parks that have shaded basketball courts. I usually play in the evening where its cooler, but since I have a lot of time on my hands I might as well play even more lol. I try to play during the day but recently its been super hot and yeah I just want a court with a lot of shade to play in. Anyone know of any?? I'm fine with vancouver bby or richmond since I drive. |
Haven't played in a long while so I only remember one off the top of my head. The court is underneath the Cambie bridge, so no sun there. Near Pacific Boulevard and Cambie St (under the bridge, Marinaside Cresent or something) Not the best court (crappy lines and no net IIRC) the worst is parking, free parking is somewhat limited and is usually taken depending on the time of day, worse comes to worst, there are metered parking on the street or lots 2-3 blocks away. Good luck! |
Thanks man I'll go check it out. |
Killarney. After say 6, the court is covered by the shadow of the school. DO NOT go to david thompson lol. |
No prob, hopefully its still there and not renovated into something else or whatever (Last time i played there was abt a year and half ago or more) Let me know if you've checked it out..Dont want to be giving you the wrong directions :haha: |
