The Pinks All Out Adventure

the adventure started the saturday night before at ashcoft the plan was to make 3 passes 1 3/4throttle transbrake pass then 2 wide open transbrake passes what ever it runs it runs leave at that put in the trailer and of to pinks. BUTit didn't work out that way 2nd pass came out of the burnout box lost the trany,took it back to the pits,found that the pump gears in the trans were broke, come back sunday morning trans out and apart by the afternoon,when the pump broke took the convertor with it. sunday night got pump lined up form the the supllier on the island, dug the spare convertor out,monday morning pump put on a plane left the island 8am in kamloops 4:30pm. monday night put trans back together install convertor ready to put back in. tuesday morning new flexplate arrives install flexplate and trans, go to put in driveshaft won't go in all the way FUCK inspect things found the front yoke splines twisted,tuesday afternoon after getting dicked around form local driveshaft shop then to late to get the proper one overnight. tuesday night frustrated we desided fucked time to throw the so called hail marry as they say we load the car up no drive shaft in it with trans not test i call soem racing buddies in vancouver they turned me on to DRIVE PRODUCTS in port kells area call them wednesday morning then have the yoke i needed so i get the wife and kids a go head with the driveshaft and buddy towing the car down coming later get there 3:30pm get the yoke they even put it on for me wait for car to arrive continue on to seattle got to hotel 9
;30pm thursday morning installed driveshaft in trailer while in line up to get in fired it up and tested trany while still in tailer all else went ok missed the 32 by about .05 had agreat time a will do it again

in all honesty would you expect it to go any other way? the best stories are the ones where you gotta scramble to get shit done on the trailer the night before or the morning of the event. shame you missed the cut, but for having done NO testing, you'll get em next year!

were you .05 fast or slow? tbrake might have made you breakout then. glad to hear that its runnin again.
