Credit Card Carrier Last year I posted a thread regarding how my ID, CC, CareCard, etc keeps breaking inside my wallet (http://www.revscene.net/forums/credi...g-t540205.html) I have finally decided to switch over to a money clip. I already purchased a silver money clip. I am now looking to buy a credit card carrier before I make the transition. I would like recomendations for a credit card carrier that has enough slots for at least 4 or 5 cards and a ID slot. It would be preferable for the carrier to be leather, and be small and simplistic. Thanks! |
I use a small leather one from Kenneth Cole. I don't see it on their website anymore though. I always carry this one around with my DL, credit cards, bank cards and if I'm going to a bar or club, just a few bills. http://cgi.ebay.com/Kenneth-Cole-Lea...d=p3286.c0.m14 |

Actually the one I have is black. It can carry about 10-12 cards. I can't remember how many are in there right now. |
I've been still browsing around, and saw a really nice coach card carrier. Very similar to the KC one. Its the water buffalo slip passcase. I got to go check it out in person now. |
gucci has a nice shiny one :) |
Money Clips FTW! I switched over to one this year and it proves to be compact and useful. |
Dior has nice ones out this season. Seen a few real ones going for about a $100 on eBay. |
I was looking for a new wallet too, and after an endless search I stumbled upon this business card holder from the LV in Holt Renfrew. I was originally looking for a billfold, but the LV one was very big and the store manager who helped me reached into his breast pocket and pulled out one of these: http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a7/n0izz/IMG_0062.jpg http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a7/n0izz/IMG_0063.jpg http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a7/n0izz/IMG_0064.jpg http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a7/n0izz/IMG_0065.jpg Works very well and was reasonably priced at $200. The billfold i was looking at was $315. I was very glad he helped me out, needless to say I'm very happy with my purchase. The quality is second to none, and feels like it will last a lifetime. |

I decided on the Coach Water Buffalo Slip Case. I went and bought it today. Price was right, quality was there, and it fitted my needs. It's a nice slim black hard leather card carrier. It's so nice using a card carrier and a money clip. Carrying a huge wallet around is so cumbersome. All you really need is some cash, a CC, ID, bank card, and care card, and SIN card. Which all fits in the card case. Thanks for the help and suggestions guys! |
Burberry has nie wallets but it is a bit pricey |
money clip ftw, so slim i will never go back to a wallet! |
money clip + card carrier. how else are you going to carry around your id, and CC? |

Monogram Canvas Damier Canvas (the one i have) Epi Leather +$50 Taiga Leather +$50 The Epi and Taiga come in black leather and are not patterns. Unlike the Canvas ones they are 100% leather. Epi is cool, it has a smooth pattern (rigid) and is water repellent and scratch resistant. The Taiga is cowhide, but looks plain IMO. Both the Epi and Taiga have an embossed logo on the corner. I chose the Damier because I like the pattern and I didn't want a boring black wallet like my previous one, plus I save $50. Card carrier ftw, no more broken cards, gives you the ability to carry important cards (office passes, carecard/extended healthcare in case you end up in the hospital) without sacrificing bulk. Go to an LV store if you are interested, you'll have to see them in person to decide. Plus if LV's workmanship is faulty, you can bring it back to them and they will repair it free of charge. My friend's bag had it's shoulder strap come apart after 2 years and he took it back for a free repair. Don't know many brands that do that anymore. LV will repair small leather goods for 10 years of purchase if the item is discontinued. |
