How to cut down the time spend on RS or internet in general?

I have to confess this is an addiction, checking RS and other websites at
least 50 times a day is very time consuming/wasting. The crap I post on RS
probably is more than enough to complete a PHD paper. How do you manage
your time spent on internet?

I feel like disconnect my computer and modem, but I need to check my email.
Fuck, it's time to sit down and plan a daily schedule for myself.

I believe there are applications available that allow you to block certain websites. Mostly used by parents to block their children, but you could probably customize it to block RS, FB, etc.

go party, go work full time, go study, do your homework, or whatever, and hit the gym everyday, and you'll have a lot less time on your hands.

Download all your porn in one day, don't stream it. It should cut your internet usage by at least 95% for the remaining year.

I was thinking of getting a Blackberry so I can check my email other than from the computer. I noticed I get sucked in to checking other things out after I check my email.

asian_XL: look at it from this perspective.

from all the time you waste on RS, the internet, and msn etc, what would you rather be doing? do you have any goals in mind that you want to accomplish? health-wise? mentally? spiritually? if you have something to strive for, you can always find time for it.

if you don't have any.... welcome to RS. HA HA

Download time management software so it only allows you a certain amount of internet time per day. Shit, I just wasted 5 mins of my allocated hour of computer time today by giving you this advice!!!!
