you obviously havent tried renting a place in victoria have you?

the winters are mild enough here that its not bad as long as you have a decent (read: waterproof) tent
as for hostels you're looking at 350+ a month (generally over 100 bucks a week)

I have no problems with that.

I don't think it will be that cold, I have a sleeping bag that's good to -15, that and a crap ton of blankets and I'll be set. I'll really only be sleeping in it, not hanging out, so ya.

Haha, no, I finished my Degree but decided that I wanted to move over-seas. I didn't see a real point in trying to find a job that I would be leaving in 4 months; My friends said "Just don't tell them and quit" but I'm not that kind of person. I have a good paying job as is, but would just prefer to save as much cash as possible so I can get settled in wherever I start.

There are alot of opportunities for Marketing Related positions, especially if you're into Web-based marketing.

You mean Spamming?

Best of luck dude... I had an employee camp out in a tent a few years ago for a couple months between leases, he enjoyed it.

345 a month, you get an actual room. hm, doesn't seem to include a kitchen though.
