That all depends...

before you turbo the motor, are you going to be replacing the internals? New pistons, rods, etc??

If your plan is to leave everything stock on the inside, then go with a B18b. The internals are stronger than those of a B20.

D16Z6 came stock from Del Sol Si, which is quite a bit cheaper than the VTEC version with B16

Del Sol Si have disc brakes while Civic hatches doesn't

Stock internal + APR head studs supposed to be able to hold turbo very well that people have done 3-400 whp with it... if you have all supporting mods and good turbo setup...

If you blow the engine you can find one cheaply and don't have to rebuild the whole thing again

delsol's never came with t-tops, it did come with a removable roof that stores in the trunk. the jdm delsols even had a electric removable top w/ trunk hinge thing that was pretty trippy.

would you guys think a B18 turbo or d16 turbo? i like the idea of more displacement.

stock block LS with a S3xx borg at 15psi will make roughly 400whp and the STOCK block will take that day in and out as long as its tuned on a s300 and tuned right.

stock b16 with a S372 at 14psi just finished up at 403 at a buddys shop in florida last night.

if i were you, grab urself a stock GSR, throw a mild turbo kit on it with a decent sized snail and at 10 psi you will be hovering around the 345-360 mark no prob.
